In addition to the 1st Place recognitions, CTC won a 2nd Place Award in the Newspaper, 1/4 Page or Less category for client SussexBank.  The richly colorful ad featured a New Jersey entrepreneur who was able to open his 1950’s style dream restaurant thanks to a business loan from SussexBank.  The headline on the award winning ad read, “SussexBank was hip to my hop.”

Christensen Tamburri Communications garnered a 3rd Place Award in the Advocacy/Political–Multimedia Campaign category.  This was the second award received for work done for client New Jersey Bankers Association.  The campaign featured a “Blue Skies” theme of optimism, with imagery that was consistently carried throughout various collateral pieces created for the client during the year.

Prior to joining Christensen Tamburri, Mr. Toombs served as VP/Sales Development at Couch Braunsdorf Insurance in Liberty Corner, NJ, where he was acknowledged with the “Best Practices Award” for 2006 production. Some of his past professional experience includes positions at MCI (British Telecom), Cisco Systems, and Infolibria, where he was recognized with the “President’s Award” for the largest sale-to-date ($15 million) and achievement of his region’s overall sales goals.

Mr. Toombs is a graduate of the University of Colorado in Boulder, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree. He is currently a board member of the Somerset Hills YMCA and a member of local and county Chambers of Commerce.
